ELIGIBILITY:
A Candidate must be a citizen of india and of required age. A minimum of 20 years of age and a maximum of 28 years is acceptable as per the banks requirement.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
The qualification has proved an important criterion in the field of jobs in any of the earning field. A graduate should have a 60% aggregate in any discipline or equivalent qualification from any recognized university by the government of India. For the SC/ST candidate the aggregate marks are reduced to 55% Marks. The bank has specified certain cutoff marks for the recruitment of the management trainees. A person should have a valid IBPS score card obtained in CWE. The minimum total weighed score required for the Punjab national bank in manipal global sources is as follows;
General: 146 & above
OBC: 125 & above
SC/ST/PWD: 113 & above
PROCEDURE OF SELECTION:
The primary screening of the candidates is done through IBPS score as mentioned. Then later selection process is done through group discussion and interview. The candidates are selected who fulfill the above criteria. After selection a one year post graduate diploma in banking and finance course is conducted by manipal global sources on behalf of Punjab national bank.

The candidate must visit the bank website www.pnbindia.in and should download the voucher. The voucher is filled with candidates name , candidates category ,name and code of the branch, date of deposit and fee of deposit .The application fee along with voucher must be paid in any branch of Punjab national bank then a id is generated with is entered in to voucher. open the bank website and the candidate must apply online only. Enter the transaction id given by the bank. The application should be filled with their name, address, mobile number and email id as per the common written examination held in 2011. For the call letters of group discussion and interview candidate is advised to visit the bank’s website.
COURSE DETAILS:
There will be a 1 year post graduate diploma in banking and finance. During this 12 month program the candidate has subjected to 9-months on campus training and 3-months internship in the bank. The candidate undertaking this 12 months course has a stipend of Rs 2500 per month for 9 months and Rs 10000 per month during the internship. The course fee has to be paid by the candidate and loan is also provided by the bank. A bond is made between the candidate and bank for 3 years during the joining of course. The salary of candidate has the scale of 14500-600x7/18700-700x2/20100-800x7/25700 and their scale would be increased as per bank rule.
